Twisted Tea: Be a Little Twisted
srand campaign Pitch
After a few years of running safe, uninteresting work, Twisted Tea was ready to inject personality into their brand under the new tagline and theme, Be a Little Twisted. As their social/creative agency of record, the BBC-owned brand came to us to pitch big ideas for 2020, helping the rapidly-growing brand introduce the world to their new positioning.
The concept pitch, for which I led creative and wrote copy, was titled Live Free, Drink Tea and included a whopping 5 TV/OLV scripts, 2 radio scripts, paid and organic social tactics, and a handful of outrageous extensions and activations. I’ve never had more fun at work than when I was writing this concept and pitching it to our client, who believed in it just as much as we did. Unfortunately, the bulk of this work never came to pass, as WPP decided to close our agency before we could produce it 💀
