Rainier is a brand famous for advertising with anthropomorphic beer cans lovingly dubbed the Wild Rainiers. To usher in the latest era of Rainier, we introduced a new species to the family: the Wild Seltzers. With the help of Ron Yaier—the 68 year old marine biologist we invented for the campaign—we blurred the lines of science and mythology, tapping into the distinctly Northwest sense of discovery.

To continue the world-building, we dusted off the visual vocabulary of academia to educate fans about the Wild Seltzers on social. All while giving them tools like giphy stickers to become amateur biologists on their own.
